Girl Time - Shopping & Serving!

I am blessed to have these two ladies in my life, and it was so special to have them HERE!

We had so much fun shopping for Indian clothing and souvenirs. We also all bought suit fabric, which we took to a tailor to have made. That was my first time to do that, but it will definitely not be my last! You choose everything... the material, the neckline, the style of pants, the length, the trim, etc. And the prices of both the fabric and the tailoring are very reasonable ... each of ours ranged from $10-$15.

As fun as our shopping time was, the time spent serving together was even better. We had the opportunity to spend two Saturday mornings in a nearby slum, teaching health lessons and stories to the ladies and kids who came.

Everyone was excited to meet J and Nana and absolutely loved their blond hair. :)

Of course, this sweaty little girl is a celebrity everywhere she goes. :)

There are so many sweet little ones...

Two sweet sisters invited us into their home for chai. One sister insisted on carrying baby S there for me. She covered S with her bright pink dupatta (scarf) to shield her from the bright sun. I am always amazed by the great concern and care the people here show for both of my babies!

But we had to stop midway for yet another photo op... of course!
