Amazing Views with Pa & Nana {Plus More from Week 9}

Our week began with beauty!

Pa & Nana rented a car for their last two days, so we took the opportunity to drive up the Sea to Sky Highway to Squamish. The views of mountains, sky and water were so beautiful, and just the freedom of riding in a car was a nice treat.

Along the way, we stopped at Porteau Cove Provincial Park - a small park right off the road with a pier and a rocky beach. We captured some of my favorite photos of the whole trip right there in that tiny but beautiful little park!

The best part was being with these two!

Our next stop was Shannon Falls - an amazing waterfall that literally seems to just pour down the side of a mountain.

Before we loaded back into the car to go get something to eat, M just had to pick some flowers!

"I found a flower for you!" he would say. He happened to be handing out hugs too. :)

All that fun wore M out.

That night, M got to enjoy showing Nana and Pa around our neighborhood park.

We ordered Indian food for dinner, which Pa had his doubts about ... but he ended up enjoying it more than he thought. I enjoyed it too, but smelling the leftovers in the fridge the next morning was NOT a happy thing for this expectant Mommy!

We were sad to see Pa and Nana go, but we are so thankful for the time we had with them! What a blessing they are to us... even from afar.

On Wednesday, M woke up to find something very exciting - a "pattidge" from friends and family back home. As you can see, he was thrilled!

One day last week, we went out for authentic Chinese food with a friend. Our beef noodles (pictured at top right) were great, and so were the pork dumplings. M tried and enjoyed both!

This boy is growing up too fast and always making me laugh. Yesterday he lined up his new Play Doh and requested that I "please take a 'pitcher.'" :)

Our time here is winding down fast. Less than a month until we move to a whole new country and culture! But before we leave, we have one more visit to look forward to. My parents, brother, and sister-in-law are coming to visit in less than two weeks!

Thanks to you all for following along with our journey. We love you!
