We spent Saturday afternoon celebrating the second birthday of little M ... again!
This boy is going to start thinking that birthdays ought to come around every month or two at least! By the next day, he was already asking for “more birthday.”
I’m always amazed by how much we are loved by so many! M’s party was a sweet time spent with some of those special people.
See our happy boy?
He loved hanging out with all his little friends (and his older friends too!) but he was equally excited about the cake. Here he is telling Hi-Hi allllllll about it:
Then it was time for Pin the Train on the Train Track - my last minute craft in an attempt to have SOMEthing for the kiddos to do. I quickly abandoned my original plan of blindfolding them and let them just have at it.
M was blessed to have FOUR great-grandmothers there! Grandma Irene, Grandma Alice, Grandmama & Grandmother... we love all four of you and recognize what a gift it is to have all of you in our lives.
He had aunts and uncles there too... Uncle Jason, Aunt Tara, Uncle Nick and Aunt Jackie! I didn’t manage to get picture of him with all of them, but here he is with Aunt “Chackie!”
We didn’t manage to get a group photo of ALL the kids (and missed one little guest altogether), but still... how cute are they?
Malachi had a blast opening gifts! After each one, he ran and gave a hug to whoever gave it to him.
As the party was winding down, M serenaded us with “Amazing Grace” and “Happy Birthday to Ta-ty.”
Next we were off to my parents to spend time with them and J & T.
M ran nonstop. After all, there was wagon-ridin’,
radish waterin’,
balloon poppin’
& lawn chair sittin’ to be done!
